AU Post -
All orders delivering to a Parcel Locker, Parcel Collect, PO Box, Secured Building or Building with a unit listed, will go through AU Post for deliveries. Please ensure you do not abbreviate these delivery locations, as this can cause delays or mis-routing due to unrecognised delivery locations.
Due to the pandemic, higher volumes, and understaffing, AU Post is experiencing record delays across their network. The congestion that is occurring with AU Post is extensive in some areas, due to lack of staffing, as well as not enough space to handle all parcels through their automated facilities, with the extremely high volumes during this time.
While AU Post is working to get caught up on deliveries and mail, transit delays will be seen as each facility scans each parcel through. These delays are typically 7-10 business days at each facility the parcel is scanned at. These delays can be up to 3-5 weeks for some areas in delays, before a parcel arrives.
Orders shipping to residential or business addresses, without a unit number listed, will be carried by the couriers for delivery to be attempted and made when able to do so. If it is not safe to leave, your parcel will be carded and you can arrange collection, using the details on your card. If you mis-place your card, please reach out to Client Services through the Help Centre, and they can assist you with gathering the needed information from the courier, so that a collection or re-delivery can be arranged. Deliveries through our courier network will be delivered within 4-12 business days.
If delays occur, tracking will be updated to show these details. Because of the delays, holiday shopping planning is best done sooner, to ensure orders arrive by Christmas.
